Services

Prayer in Worship Service

Sunday Worship  and Sunday School - 1:00 PM

Tuesday Prayer Meeting:...My house shall be called the house of prayer...” (Matthew 21:13)

Each Tuesday night we have a prayer meeting. Prayer request cards are available to be filled out and are collected at all services . The doors open at 6:30 pm for a quiet time to prepare our hearts and pray. The service begins at 7 pm for a time of worship followed by the hearing of God’s word. We then spend time in prayer; and depending upon how the Holy Spirit leads us, we pray for one another, pray individually, pray over the prayer requests which we’ve received, or pray corporately. (I Corinthians 14:15)

Bible Study: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.” (II Timothy 3:16)

On Wednesdays, Bible Study is held downstairs in the Library classroom at 7 pm. The women meet on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, the men meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. Presently we are studying the book of I Peter. We are learning what the Bible says about God--about who He is and even who and what He is not, and how to practically apply this understanding to our everyday lives.

Location:  Our services are held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 76 High Street, Middletown, CT.  For map and directions, see our Contact page.
