What We Believe
WE BELIEVE :

The Old and New Testaments of the
Bible are the infallible inspired Word of God.

There is one true and eternal God.
He exists in three separate, distinct and co-equal persons: The
Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. He created all things.

God created man in His image. But
man through his disobedience
sinned, and became separated from God. The entire human race shares
in man’s lost and sinful nature.

Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of
God, took upon Himself the form of a man by means of the virgin
birth. Through His sacrificial death, He provided atonement of sin
for all man. He was resurrected from the dead, ascended back into
heaven, and is our Priestly Intercessor.

Salvation from the eternal punishment for sin is the gift of
God by grace alone. The offered gift is received by:
confessing that you
are a sinner, repenting
of (turning from) your sins,
believing that Jesus
died on the cross for you, and
receiving Him as
your personal Savior. The saved individual is a child of God
and a member of the church body of which Jesus is the Head.

The Holy Spirit is our Comforter,
who convicts the world of sin, places the believer in the church
body, indwells the believer, and bestows spiritual gifts to the
church. Through His work within us, we bear good fruit pleasing to
God.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is
for all believers as a definite endowment of His power for service
and is subsequent to, and separate from salvation.

By Christ’s command, there are two
ordinances of the church administered to believers. These are
Water Baptism by immersion as an outward witness of our death
and rebirth, and the Lord’s Supper in which we remember and
celebrate together, His death for us.

The completion of all things
includes: the visible, personal, and glorious return of Jesus
Christ, the resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous for
judgment, the eternal salvation of the believers and the eternal
damnation and punishment of the nonbelievers, the millennial reign
of Christ, and the creation of a new heaven and earth where we will
dwell with God for all eternity.
